TRANSFORMATION LIFE Michel Montecrossa’s Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2016 is released by Mira Sound Germany on Audio-CD, DVD and as Download.
TRANSFORMATION LIFE Michel Montecrossa’s Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2016 which was recorded live on Tuesday 26th July 2016 during the legendary Spirit of Woodstock Festival 2016 in Mirapuri is presenting the outstandingly revealing performances of 6 Michel Montecrossa songs and 6 Bob Dylan songs performed by Michel Montecrossa and his band The Chosen Few. TRANSFORMATION LIFE Michel Montecrossa’s Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2016 begins with Michel Montecrossa’s brand-new after-Brexit Topical Song ‘What The European Union Must Do Now – Was Die Europäische Union Jetzt Machen Muss’, followed by the timeless Bob Dylan folk Protest Song ‘Blowin’ In The Wind’. The Michel Montecrossa Transformation-Reality-Song ‘No Sugar’ leads to Bob Dylan’s bitter-sweet look-life-into-the face Love Song ‘To Ramona’. Michel Montecrossa then goes on with his soulful ‘Woman & Man, Man & Woman’. The tender Bob Dylan song ‘Tomorrow Is A Long Time’ connects to Michel Montecrossa’s Mirapuri Song ‘The Place Of The Free’. In the thoughtful ‘Yes Or No Blues’ Michel Montecrossa asks his girl “Tell me girl: Are you ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, or have you found the middle? Tell me girl: Are you unbound or do you move in circles? It’s your mind. It’s your heart. It’s the whisper. It’s the star.” Then he extends the seeking and finding emotion into the performance of the Bob Dylan song ‘Where Teardrops Fall’. The finale are the autobiographical ‘Cyberrocker Ballad’ by Michel Montecrossa, the self reflecting Bob Dylan song ‘Most Of The Time’ and ‘Melancholy Mood’, one of the Frank Sinatra songs which Bob Dylan also performed.

Michel Montecrossa says about his Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2016:
“There is ordinary life and there is TRANSFORMATION LIFE. I live the TRANSFORMATION LIFE.”

Michel Montecrossa says about his Michel & Bob Dylan Fest series:
“The origin of the ‘Michel & Bob Dylan Fest Series’ was a man asking me if I could sing a Bob Dylan song in my next concert. I fulfilled his wish. After that I was asked ever more to include Bob Dylan songs in my concerts, as people said they like my way of singing Bob Dylan songs and they like to hear them together with my own songs as a positive and stimulating experience. Out of that the ‘Michel & Bob Dylan Fest Series’ evolved, beginning in 2001 and the ‘The Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2016‘ is the 16th time that it happened. It includes my own new songs as well as Bob Dylan songs from 1961 till 2016.”

Today’s Dance-Electronica Song ‘Cyberhalloween’ (Twenty-Four-Carat-Hysteria Changed Into Pure Cash)

Today’s Dance-Electronica song ‘Cyberhalloween’ (Twenty-Four-Carat-Hysteria Changed Into Pure Cash) by Michel Montecrossa

Cyberhalloween (Twenty-Four-Carat-Hysteria Changed Into Pure Cash)

“Is there a reason” she said in disgust,
“to light another cigarette for having good luck?”
    Twenty-four-carat-hysteria changed into pure cash
and then disappeared into a ghostly effect:

Probably a negotiation of nuclear deals
instead of a complex marriage securing the western feel.
Short memory of refugees is no problem for steamrollers.
The wisdom of the crowd works in terms of dollars.

I don’t know all the rules – for that I’m too disinterested.
Most of the time I’m staying cool to leave our clients disrupted.
Something like that I said it before when I was drivin’ holes in the wall.
I shake my head before recalling enemies again.

A procession there was of emotions in the setting of the scene.
I couldn’t believe I had fallen for her. It seemed streetwise and rather extreme.
It could be grief, it could be shame, but I’ve done it and that’s the game.
The last thing I expected was to go for a ride in the rain.

Now I obey hunting bans and leave the village poorer.
Now I am kickstarter for medical research.
I’m not wondering why and how boom faded.
I like to get service with an impersonal touch.

By redesigning my post I’m a-getting new loads.
I’m adapting to a world tryin’ to replace the world.
Growth is no longer the way to attract love,
it’s balancing financial independence with the need for love.

I know a sharp data thief in Mexico.
I’m not the one who crippled his nervous system.
I’m only the last chance against an artificial intelligence.
And she has mirror-eyes and a prophetic chewing gum.

“Is there a reason” she said disgust,.
“to lite another cigarette for having good luck?”
    Twenty-four-carat-hysteria changed into pure cash
and then disappeared into a ghostly effect.
