Cyberodin And The Angel Of The Sword

I’m just goin’ to do the thing with the open door.
Sometimes there are walls you are glued upon.
Life is not there to go to the grave.
It’s there for the battle, to be brave.

No need to worry, I’m here for you, baby.
Some of them women, though, are just too crazy.
Now I can tell you, I always feel better
if I don’t have to write useless letters.

You are wastin’ yourself on things you’ll regret.
Every night you’ll feel the opposite effect.
Cyberodin and the Angel of the Sword
takin’ up the world: It’s a question of hope.

All the girls are made, I say, by sex.
I guess it is great, what do you expect?
There are millions expected to die in the next war.
We are here for love and that is all.

Next step of evolution: summers of revolution.
Cyberodin ploughin’ the ocean deep.
I see that your eyes are bright with belief.
Cyberodin on the waves, Cyberhorizons ahead.

You are wastin’ yourself on things you’ll regret.
Every night you’ll feel the opposite effect.
Cyberodin and the Angel of the Sword
takin’ up the world: It’s a question of hope.

There are enough people for whatever you say.
In the hidden grows the flower of grace.
The stress of ignorance and naughty liars
can’t stop us from goin’ higher.

Cyberodin with the smile of the great.
Cyberodin with the power that shakes.
A million miles can make you understand:
Cyberodin is love burnin’ stronger than hate.

Cyberodin with the smile of the great.
Cyberodin with the power that saves.
Cyberodin makes you understand:
Cyberodin is love burnin’ stronger than hate.

As The Battle Came To An End

As the battle came to an end
there was one bitter last blow,
one last kill, one last wound,
one last shot, one last bomb,
one last breath of poison.

Soon the ruins will be quiet,
calm the cratered earth
and morning fog will no longer hide
the enemy brother and the weapon he got.
As the battle came to an end
someone was there who thought of God.

And he knew the tears will not
end so soon, nor will pain go.
Battles end but struggle still goes on,
will go on…

I would like to see my home so free
as is my soul’s, my soul’s ecstasy.
Yes, I would like to be.
I would like to be free
as the Master is in His Consciousness.
Free as the Truth and the Answer
to all the battles that can ever be.
Deep within burned this thought.

And I knew with tears of hope
and I saw with vision’s strength
that this pain and battle won’t be
in vain, won’t be in vain…

As the battle came to an end
there was one bitter last blow,
one last kill, one last wound,
one last shot, one last bomb,
one last breath of poison.

Soon the ruins will be quiet,
calm the cratered earth
and morning fog will no longer hide
the enemy brother and the weapon he got.
As the battle came to an end
someone was there who thought of God.

And he knew the tears will not
end so soon, nor will pain go.
Battles end but struggle will go on,
till the hour comes, the hour comes…

THE DEVIL HE CAN’T BRING US DOWN
(Song triggered by the U.S. shooting massacre at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut)
The devil he can’t bring us down, / the devil can’t kill our life. / Our life is coming from heaven / and no evil can reach that high.
Our children and our loved ones / may pass from this bloody earth. / On the wings of our prayers / we will rise and meet them again.
The devil he can’t bring us down, / he can’t imagine life. / Life will always bring heaven to earth / through love’s sweet paradise.
It’s love that holds us together / in sunshine and darkness-days. / It’s love that is a-peace giving / and love is showing the way.
The souls of our loved ones / in our love are always at home / and come back to this earth reborn / as children of love so warm.
The devil he can’t bring us down, / the devil can’t kill our life. / Our life is coming from heaven / and no evil can reach that high.
On earth we must change and reach / a new ethical standard for real / of peace and community, / of happiness and love that relieve.

New-Topical-Song ‘Günter Grass Is Right – World War Is Bad‘ by Michel Montecrossa

Günter Grass is right - World War is bad

Günter Grass Is Right – World War Is Bad‘ is Michel Montecrossa’s New-Topical-Evolver-Song triggered by the Günter Grass poem ‘Was gesagt werden muss / What has to be said’’. It is about what the people want in times of World War fears, disinformation and big trading of weapons.

Michel Montecrossa says:
“‘GÜNTER GRASS HAT RECHT: WELTKRIEG IST SCHLECHT / GÜNTER GRASS IS RIGHT: WORLD WAR IS BAD ‘ is a New-Topical-Evolver-Song triggered by the controversial Günter Grass poem ‘Was gesagt werden muss / What has to be said’. It is not a song about politics but about what the people want in these times of world war fears, disinformation and big trading of weapons: The people want peace, unity, freedom, jobs, education and security for themselves and their children. They don’t want the destruction of their lives, brain messing and always more horrible weapons.
Listen to ordinary people in Israel or Iran and all over the world. They talk with each other in the internet and want peace, not war. To wish for the destruction of a nation is not what the people want. That’s why I sing this song triggered by a poem which is somewhat lopsided and certainly controversial, but at the same time a good occasion to think about ways for proper handling of complex realities which pose a threat to the life of us all.”

Michel Montecrossa sagt:
“‘GÜNTER GRASS HAT RECHT: WELTKRIEG IST SCHLECHT / GÜNTER GRASS IS RIGHT: WORLD WAR IS BAD’ ist ein New-Topical-Evolver-Song ausgelöst durch das kontroverse Günter Grass Gedicht ‘Was gesagt werden muss‘.

Michel Montecrossa Single 'Günter Grass hat recht: Weltkrieg is schlecht' (Günter Grass is right: World War is bad)

Song Lyrics

GÜNTER GRASS IS RIGHT: WORLD WAR IS BAD
Günter Grass is right: World War is bad. / We have to speak about the root of all / hate and misunderstanding, / of blindness and of anger, / of conflict and ill will.
Günter Grass is right: about facts we have to talk / free in mind and true, ready to find the ways / to peace and understanding, / to celebration of humanity, / to joy of human unity.
Günter Grass is right: trading of weapons is a danger / strengthening war in the world and willingness to kill. / Better let us strengthen / the readiness to live together / and to solve our problems together.
I see the people everywhere: they don’t want wars. / Old and young want peace and love for all the world, / good work and not poverty / freedom and the contacts / connecting all and making us happy.
Music, Lyrics & Drawings: Michel Montecrossa © Mira Sound Germany

Songtext
