Michel Montecrossa is a musician, artist and writer from Gauting, Germany. His musical work embraces songs, symphonic compositions and fusions of meditation-music with poetry. His artistic work unifies various styles of painting, drawing, photography and movie-making. His multidimensional work as a writer manifests itself through poetry, philosophy and novels. Michel Montecrossa traveled to many countries and met great personalities of the cultural and spiritual life who influenced his character, art and future-oriented humanitarian commitment.

Following are his views on our questions.

Tell us something about yourself?
Since the beginning of my life I have a love for the Divine, for becoming conscious. This love and this yearning made me into an artist, musician, poet and philosopher.

What motivated you to pursue music and how did you learn it?
The thirst for Intelligence which most divinely is manifested in music. I learned music in schools and through very good private teachers.

You have quite vivid knowledge of India, how did you got interested in it?
India is an important part of the Eurasian Union that the Eurasian Continent needs, the biggest continent of planet Earth. The free union of the nations of Eurasia would be a big step forward to the future United States of Planet Earth, the gate to Space Age and a new step of Human Evolution. In this context I got interested in India and studied its culture and future potential along with the other Eurasian Nations and their cultures and future potentials.

What message are you trying to give through your music?
The message of hope.

Germans took in lots of Syrian refugees, as an artist, as a German how do you see this?
Welcome Culture is the only true answer to world wide radicalization. It must be evolved in a reasonable and effective way.

What would be your advice to people who want to go into music industry?
Never let yourself be discouraged. Stand for your Dream and the power of its Magic and be proud of it – then you will win.

Do you write songs on your own or you write them collaboratively with your band?
I write all my songs on my own and work out their performance together with my band.

What are your interests outside music?
Fine Art, Poetry, Philosophy, Consciousness Research and Futurist Moviemaking.

Your message for our readers?

Preview ‘Tempest Of Darkness & Light’; Michel Montecrossa’s ‘Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2013’

Michel Montecrossa‘s all expectations-beating Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2013 production with the title ‘Tempest Of Darkness & Light’ is released by Mira Sound Germany as double Audio-CD and DVD or downloads.
In a time where espionage and doping are as logical as are criminal speculation, Syria war business, racism, violence, unequal justice and information war, Michel Montecrossa created the Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2013 ‘Tempest Of Darkness & Light’, a masterpiece of bringing together the Free Music Revolution, to which he belongs, and the established music industry to which Bob Dylan belongs, in the Spirit of their art and music as an example of creative unity in diversity of expression.
Together with Mirakali, Diana Antara and his band The Chosen Few, Michel Montecrossa achieves this powerful fusion of apparently hostile cultural systems through unifying creativity of Michel Montecrossa and Bob Dylan as two musician artists who easily stand above imperfect systems – a creativity which is so vividly active in the humanity of their music that they always transcend all borders of fear with their liberal spirit of intuitive understanding, common sense and love.
Michel Montecrossa, Mirakali and Diana Antara present with the Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2013 ‘Tempest Of Darkness & Light’ a genius collection of 11 outstanding New-Topical-Songs (9 songs by Michel Montecrossa and 2 songs by Mirakali and Diana Antara) which are masterfully blended with the 10 songs of Bob Dylan’s ‘Tempest’ production performed by Michel Montecrossa with his unique power of revealing through his singing even in darkest things a light coming from a different kind and order of reality.
With the opening song ‘Malala’s Tempest Of Darkness & Light’ Michel Montecrossa right from the very first line brings in the tone of his bold New-Topical-Song-Movement and his generous humanitarian spirit which is the trademark of his entire Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2013 production.
With his great performance of Bob Dylan’s ‘Tempest’ song which follows his opening song, Michel Montecrossa then is making clear his stand for the European-American cultural union overcoming the antagonism between the philosophies of the Free Music Revolution and the established music industry and its totalitarianism.
This spirit of overcoming borders is now the golden thread leading always more through all songs from darkness to light. It is truly a tempest of struggle unfolding through the 21 songs of Michel Montecrossa and Bob Dylan. It is an artistic catharsis through experience which Michel Montecrossa unfolds that never shrinks from the battle, never fears confrontation. Thus he leads the listener from the precarious outset in a world near the gates of hell – song by song – out of hopelessness into certitude, out of weakness into strength of purpose. Michel Montecrossa carries with his New-Topical-Songs and his easy-going contact with Bob Dylan’s songs the creative dialogue between truth and doubt to its utmost intensity till he reaches the goal with his concluding song ‘Who Is The Future?’. It is a transcendental answer to this universal question and all the questions raised in the Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2013 ‘Tempest Of Darkness & Light’, an answer that is ultimately found in our own individual existence, its uniqueness and its ability to feel Love and Oneness.
The 21 songs of the Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2013 with the title ‘Tempest Of Darkness & Light’ are:
‘Malala‘s Tempest Of Darkness & Light’, ‘Tempest’, ‘Calm Beauty’, ‘Duquesne Whistle’, ‘Burnin‘ Heart’, ‘Soon After Midnight’, ‘Strong Love, Strong Life’, ‘Narrow Way’, ‘Talking World War & The Nato Gang’, ‘Tin Angel’, ‘Strong Is My Christmas Dream’, ‘Long And Wasted Years’, ‘Love World Action Song’, ‘Pay In Blood’, ‘Talking Media World’, ‘Scarlet Town’, ‘In Mirapuri Where I Ball With You’, ‘Early Roman Kings’, ‘Love & Unity Solution Song’, ‘Roll On John’, ‘Who Is The Future?’.

MICHAEL MOORE IS A RICH MAN – LAUGH OUT LOUD (Song For The Day Without The 99%)
Michael Moore is a rich man and clown for the rich. / He sings an outdated commercial song about protest / made by another rich man for the rich. / A good rich man’s party joke he is.
He makes lots of money with finger-pointing movies. / It’s like that in the post-cash economy, / in times of errors, sloppiness and bad judgment / when through black holes in the banking system
incredible money goes to / weapons, slaves and drugs and movies. / Michael Moore is a rich man – laugh out loud. / It’s my song for the day without the 99 percent.
Michael Moore is a rich man, la-la-la-la. / He sings an outdated la-la-la-la. / Michael Moore is a rich man – laugh out loud / and this is my song for the day without the 99 percent.

It was recorded live on Friday, 29th July during my opening concert at the Spirit of Woodstock Festival 2011 in Mirapuri, Italy. I hope that the free music revolution will break the tyranny of a totalitarian and dehumanized music industry.”

Michel Montecrossa's Single 'Prayin' For Amy'

SONG LYRICS
PRAYIN’ FOR AMY
When will they get their erections? / I pray for Amy! / You’ll never get what you deserve, / boy and girl! / The industry will kill you. It’s the nightmare. / They don’t care about feelings. / Why do you dare?
I’m like you a musician and life sometimes is hell. / I know to pay attention, know dimensions. / Music is great and poetry too. / There’s nothin’ wrong, you should kick out / their taboos.
I pray for Amy, she was a good child. / She was innocent and had the young light. / They simply stole it, cracked her head. / Don’t matter what they said – it never worked.
I pray for Amy and I do know: / She just wanted, / wanted to find her way back home.
