Sounds on Thursday 123: ‘The Power Of Christmas’ by Michel Montecrossa

Continuing the Sounds on Thursday blog post series with the song ‘The Power Of Christmas’ by Michel Montecrossa,

Song Lyrics

The Power Of Christmas

The Power of Christmas is
the Mother of Jesus,
a woman strong, giving birth to her son.
A woman of faith,
a woman of love,
taking a stand against all the evil.

A woman of glory she brings
the saviour to earth,
opens the gate to redeeming future.
The Mother of Jesus she is,
the millennium flame of compassion,
the love supreme, evolution’s king.

The Power of Christmas
is the Mother of Jesus,
the feminine truth doing good for the world.
The feminine courage,
the eternal secret,
forever disclosed as our soul.

Like a sun is the child,
is the saviour Jesus,
the Spirit eternal, the center of all.
Spring of the flame
of love in all,
the love supreme that is the goal.

The Power of Christmas is
the Mother of Jesus,
a woman strong, giving birth to her son.
A woman of faith,
a woman of love,
taking a stand against all evil.

Sounds on Thursday 122: ‘Strong Woman’ by Michel Montecrossa

Continuing the Sounds on Thursday blog post series with the song ‘Strong Woman’ by Michel Montecrossa,

Song Lyrics

Strong Woman

The power is there of the wind and the rain,
of thunder and of lightning.
The power is there of the mighty king,
the saga and the wonder
of the Strong Woman coming.
of you and your eyes of hunger.

The warmth of your skin and your magic heart
makes the circle complete for loving.
You are the Strong Woman, the midnight star,
the king’s pride and honour.
Your passion rules with wisdom,
your light is the morning star.

Your hips move with the glory song,
are ready for his longing.
Your smile is the answer of his soul
embedded in your heart that’s knowing,
knows the way of tomorrow,
the power of change a-coming.

The power is there of the sun and the heat,
of the king and woman dancing
the rhythm of stars and creation’s dreams
unfolding on earth the heavens
of woman and man united,
of you and your eyes wide open.

Sounds on Thursday 121: ‘Supergang’ by Michel Montecrossa

Continuing the Sounds on Thursday blog post series with the song ‘Supergang’ by Michel Montecrossa,

Song Lyrics

Supergang

Come all ye girls and ladies
from over every land,
I tell you now the story of the Supergang.
Yeah, listen if you want to be handled nice
and sweet with care and with love and pride:
We are all the boys and men of the Supergang.

Come all ye friends and lovers and
listen to my tale:
“I woke up in the morning and felt it sweet, o Lord,
you are that wonder-maiden I never want to miss.
You are the glory woman and I thank you for your kiss.
We are all the boys and men of the Supergang.”

“Come all ye tender hearts, bring your dreams
and bring your hopes.
We’ll put it all together and sing the song
of future’s dawn.
It is the greatest marvel to live, to love,
to know and see with happy vision the way of paradise, you know:
We are all the boys and men of the Supergang.”

And from that beauty ocean I heard
songs of pure delight,
voices of the girls and ladies of the grace.
And the melodies and scents of strong
and mighty lands.
And then we saw them coming, the
bringers of the light:
Now we are the boys and girls of the Supergang.

Come all ye happy people
from over every land,
now you know the story
of the Supergang.
Yeah, find out if you want to be handled nice
and sweet with care and with Love and with pride.
We are all the Souls and Dreams of the Supergang.

Further information & more tracks from the album you find here

Song Lyrics

Wide Horizon

You can feel it, even without knowing,
the horizon wide of your inner countries,
You can feel it deep, your inner ocean.
You can feel it and it is knowing:
it’s all the love of wideness and becoming,
the gentle breeze of summer,
the gentle kiss of wonder.

Wide Horizon like a deep blue sea.
Wide Horizon like the sigh of you and me.
We can feel it deep – our inner “We”.
We can feel it and it is knowing:
it’s all the love of wideness and becoming,
the gentle breeze of summer,
the gentle kiss of wonder.

Wide Smile like the Wide Horizon
of the unknown and the great adventure.
You can feel it deep, it is your soul unmeasured.
You can feel it and it is knowing:
it’s all the love of wideness and becoming,
the gentle breeze of summer,
the gentle kiss of wonder.

Sounds on Thursday 119: ‘The People Of The Bright Earth’ by Michel Montecrossa

Continuing the Sounds on Thursday blog post series with the electro-acoustic song ‘The People Of The Bright Earth’ by Michel Montecrossa.

Song Lyrics

The People Of The Bright Earth

The people of the Bright Earth
are knowing through freedom.
Free they are to feel and live truth-vision-action.
Truth is celebration of wisdom and strength,
celebration of love‘s perfection world.

Freedom is most perfect when it relaxes into bliss
and with love and joy is unfolding peace upon earth.
Freedom spontaneous is the action play of love.
The people of the Bright Earth
have for that the right heart.

Suddenly it comes: the unexpected turn.
Suddenly it‘s there and there‘s nothing to explain:
you feel it, you love it, you want it, you get it.
The people of the Bright Earth
don‘t need a concept or a gadget.
The soul they have of the infinite ocean
of energy and light of consciousness expansion.
They are open and not closed to the all power source,
to the genuine embrace of love that knows.

The people of the Bright Earth live and move in the true,
the right and vast love in them and in all.
Conscious they are in movement and in the calm.
They know to be the mother of life and love strong.

The people of the Bright Earth
are love‘s freedom emotions.
Free they are, breathing love‘s joy sensations.
Joy is wisdom and truth of strong love perfection
and perfection is the beauty of fulfilling satisfaction.

Sounds on Thursday 118: ‘The Only Thing Between You And Me’ by Michel Montecrossa

Continuing the Sounds on Thursday blog post series with the electro-acoustic song ‘The Only Thing Between You And Me’ by Michel Montecrossa.

Song Lyrics

The Only Thing Between You And Me

There is a body of delight
waiting somewhere in the night.
There is a body of light
somewhere waiting in the heights.
Like stars telling about the more
we are wild ones driving
into the all, … hm

Time is a-passing by,
time is in your eyes.

I look beyond where you are.

Time is there where there is no sigh.
You can’t find anything in your mind, … hm

You have to look and you have to see:
that is the only thing
between you and me.

Song & Lyrics Spotlight: ‘Absolutely Family’ by Michel Montecrossa

Song & Lyrics Spotlight: read the lyrics & listen to the acoustic New-Topical-Song ‘Absolutely Family’ by Michel Montecrossa taken from his ‘Absolutely Family’ Climate Change Concert that you can read about here and download here from iTunes.

Michel Montecrossa Homepage: www.MichelMontecrossa.com

Absolutely Family

Come all ye children, I tell you a tale.
Listen closely so you might understand.
There are normals and normals and normals, you know.
Sometimes there are outlaws and that is good, of course.
La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La

My family are outlaws, are freedom fighters.
We raise our voice, want our rights.
There are normals and normals and normals, you know,
but we stand together, are the living goal.
La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La

The world outside gets darker and darker.
Cynicism rising and outrageous corruption.
There are normals and normals and normals, you know.
They don‘t believe in anything at all.
La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La

My family are lovers, proud with might
of true conviction that comes from the light.
There are normals and normals and normals, you know.
We aren‘t normal, into future we go.
La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La

My family are seers, they know what is right.
Happy they are and know how to smile.
There are normals and normals and normals, you know.
Beyond the darkness is the unknown.
La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La

Absolutely family I am.
I‘m with the good friends that understand.
We have the faith, the courage, the hope.
We are the outlaws and for that thank the Lord.
La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La / La-La-La

Song & Lyrics Spotlight: ‘Terra Rock’ by Michel Montecrossa

Today’s Song & Lyrics Spotlight: ‘Terra Rock’ by Michel Montecrossa . The song is taken from Michel Montecrossa’s Michel & Bob Dylan Fest 2005 – further information about this album/CD-Box here

Terra Rock

He gave her a dollar a day to hang around there.
It wasn’t really a job but part of Terra Rock, I swear.
He’d pitch her a dollar every night to show
that his heart was on the right side, you know.

His face was pale and outside some lad was crossin’ roads.
Her eyes were bright and pretty and sad when she joked.
“I like to work, make you feel better with me around this block.”
He gave the girl a job and it’s part of Terra Rock.

It was a lonesome place where she was killed by heat of arguments,
mad stories and a family of beasts. She bought a bus ticket,
hit the rocket fields at last.
Terra Rock is callin’ and it’s always movin’ fast.

His hand was on the mattress and he didn’t say a word.
He looked into the mornin’ spreadin’ light across the place.
The rockets standing big with shadows long on the earth.
The girl was thinkin’ ‘bout Terra Rock that never hurts.

Then he took her hand, folded his fingers between hers.
I heard the sound of someone’s shadow and a curse.
I walked across the field, the building was behind.
The girl went to the window, had something on her mind.

It was a lonesome place where she was comin’ from
and I was turnin’ ‘round hearin’ Terra Rock once more.
She crossed the field like fire and the wind and she came
to be with me this mornin’, leavin’ sadness on the way.
