Rebellion

I go to the station, rebellion in my mind.
My shoes they are a-burnin’, night is in the sky.
Ideals are burnin’ brighter but there are the lives
of the soft and easy dyin’: it’s all a crime.

The fools of tomorrow, the news and the hopes.
The music of the artist advertising jobs.
It’s turnin’ ‘round the link and the hardware only
exchanging free ideals in the midst of being lonely.

Workin’ as a cook and workin’ on a ship
movin’ through the ocean of the unknown trip,
there’s nothing here to gain, nothin’ to explain.
It’s all so soft and easy, dyin’ all the same.

Is it that what you want? Is it crystal clear?
The memory of all: Tomorrow is so real.
My guitar is a-cryin’ like a lovely girl.
Strangers from the here go into the nowhere.

When I reach the station I’ll keep it in my mind.
The things that are a-flyin’ in the open sky.
When you touch my body naked with a smile
then I feel your memories cool like an easy try.

I ain’t pickin’ milk from the statues of the moon.
My summer is a-bleedin’, you ain’t doin’ any wrong.
It’s all the hallelujah for the lovers and I come
with the adam-flower when all the angst is gone.

Now it is that drink. Tell me what you think:
Secret of pyramids? Dependency on kings?
Charming deadly whispers? Wrath of your heart?
Exposed to the light be like a goddess smart.

Is it that what you want? Is it crystal clear?
The memory of all: Tomorrow is so real.
My guitar is a-cryin’ like a lovely girl.
Strangers from the here go into the nowhere.

I go to the station, rebellion in my mind.
My shoes they are a-burnin’, night is in the sky.
Ideals are burnin’ brighter but there are the lives
of the soft and easy dyin’: it’s all a crime.

Hot Tracks 69: Top Songs by Michel Montecrossa & Mirakali

This week’s Hot Tracks features a new song selection by Michel Montecrossa and Mirakali taken from Michel Montecrossa’s album ‘War Kills’ – you can read here about the album

About ‘War Kills’ Michel Montecrossa says:
“A song can be the conscience of the world. It can be the voice that rights what went wrong. Such a song is a true topical song. It is a song stirring emotions. It is the song remembered by generations. It is the song telling the story that moves others to think. Such a song comes from the future and is as old as man’s time on earth.
It is a broadside from the depth of a voice stirred by love, going beyond all anger, sorrow, disgust and contempt. It sings ‘War Kills’ in the streets and on data-highways.
It is the song open to the vision that replaces law by freedom.”

Michel Montecrossa says about

“The battle for Libya is a battle for the world when victory brings mercy and forgiveness and not hatred and revenge.
The whole world needs a rise of civilization and not downfall into a barbarian age. Every change must be based on compassion and goodwill to be worthy of the world.
Let the past be past and bring the future of love and freedom, then not only the battle for Libya will be won but also the much greater battle for the world.”

SONG LYRICS

TALKIN‘ BATTLE FOR LIBYA – TALKIN‘ BATTLE FOR THE WORLD
Talkin‘ Battle for Libya – Talkin‘ Battle for the World: / Victory for Libya means victory for the world / if it doesn’t mean bloodshed and cruel revenge, / if it will not bring conflicts of dirty power games.
Listen to me children of the future world, / learn from history not to repeat it again. / I sing today of the now that you think about / your today and now and keep tyrants out.
The battle for freedom is the battle of the world. / Wherever it is, it’s the battle of the young. / The young are made by love and for love they are born. / They shall bring love that makes all the world one.
Battle for Libya and for the World: / nations united bring peace to the earth. / The battle for Libya must bring end of sorrow / to be the sign of love for the world of tomorrow.
Victory of Libya must be a victory of mercy / and the end of things that are crazy. / Forgiveness, kindness and cooperation / are the victory needed for the whole world.
The world then will remember Libya’s rebellion / as a step and action on the upward path. / Future world of true intelligence demands / freedom of soul for the life of all.
Battle for Libya and for the world: / Each victory of love is good for the earth. / Each victory of love is good for us all. / Listen to me children of the bright coming dawn:
“Victory of rebellion / is a victory for the world / when changes come / without hate and pain.”
