Meditations on Sri Aurobindo’s Savitri, Part Twelve: Savitri, Book XI – The Book of Everlasting Day, Savitri, Book XII – Epilogue (106 min.)
Meditations on Savitri are a compilation of most essential text passages from Sri Aurobindo s spiritual epic poem Savitri, selected by his life-partner Mira Alfassa – The Mother. Her recitations of these passages in English language were recorded on tape.
The compilation of the text passages served as basis for the creation of 468 visionary paintings created by the painter Huta Hindocha according to sketches and specifications given by The Mother and these 468 paintings received the name Meditations on Savitri by Mira Alfassa – The Mother.
Then, also under the title Meditations on Savitri, the production of a series of 12 movie presentations of all the Meditations on Savitri paintings combined with the recitations of The Mother and her own organ music began.The series was produced by the movie artist Michel Montecrossa on commission of Mira Alfassa – The Mother.
