Michel Montecrossa’s great ‘Maria Magdalena Symphony’ released by Mira Sound Germany as Audio-CD, DVD and Download with 19 orchestral and chant tracks is dedicated to the life and heritage of Maria Magdalena and to love, equality and freedom of women in religious life. Michel Montecrossa has written the lyrics of the chants on the basis of the Gospel of Maria Magdalena. ‘The Maria Magdalena Symphony’ is performed by Michel Montecrossa and his Lightsound Orchestra. The chants are performed in English and German by Michel Montecrossa.
‘The Maria Magdalena Symphony’ is part of Michel Montecrossa’s great sacral symphonic triptych comprising ‘The Christmas Symphony’, ‘The Jesus Symphony’ and ‘The Maria Magdalena Symphony’. Recorded on 2nd May, 2015 at the Friedenskirche St. Vitus in Auerstedt Germany.

Das Konzert ist Teil des dreitägigen Friedensevents ‘Der Große Frieden’ (1.-3. Mai 2015) organisiert von ‘Ourchild e.V. Kinderhilfswerk’.

Michel Montecrossa’s eindrucksvolle ‘The Maria Magdalena Symphony’ (Die Maria Magdalena Symphonie), von Mira Sound Germany auf Audio-CD als vollständige Version mit 19 Titeln und als kürzere Version auf DVD mit 10 Titeln veröffentlicht, ist dem Leben und Vermächtnis von Maria Magdalena gewidmet und erinnert ebenso an die Liebe, Gleichberechtigung und Freiheit von Frauen im religiösen Leben. Die Texte der Chants wurden von Michel Montecrossa basierend auf dem Evangelium von Maria Magdalena verfasst. ‘Die Maria Magdalena Symphonie’ wurde von Michel Montecrossa zusammen mit seinem Lightsound Orchester eingespielt. Die in Englisch und Deutsch verfassten Chants werden von Michel Montecrossa gesungen. Die DVD der ‘Maria Magdalena Symphonie’ ist eine Live-Aufzeichnung der Aufführung, die am 22. Dezember 2012 in der Omnidiet Music-Hall stattfand und präsentiert eine verkürzte Version der Symphonie, die speziell für Ostern 2013 mit 10 Titeln und einer extra komponierten Ouvertüre veröffentlicht wurde. Die ‘Maria Magdalena Symphonie’ ist Teil von Michel Montecrossa’s großem sakralen Symphonie-Triptychon, welches ‘Die Weihnachts Symphonie’ (The Christmas Symphony), ‘Die Jesus Symphonie’ (The Jesus Symphony) und ‘Die Maria Magdalena Symphonie’ (The Maria Magdalena Symphony) umfasst.
